I would really like to have the ability to import hours or payroll information in a more up to date way, something that is easy for my clients

Also, if there can be additional customizations on the check editor- if you can add more elements like Net Pay, employee address etc

Also if the pay period can automatically update to next period that would be a huge help

and when you are looking for what is owed on a specific in the make deposits screen--> check liabilities--> if it would actually have the net amount due after otehr payments applied to the period

are there going to be any planned updates or new benefits from using the program coming up any time soon

Thank you for your suggestions. Improvements and enhancement ideas are always welcome from our customers. We take your interest in making PenSoft the best value in Payroll Software very seriously. PenSoft provides multiple methods of importing payroll data into our software. We have import specifications allowing users to import an ASCII text file or an XML file. We also have a new ancillary feature called PenSoft Remote, allowing customers to send batches of payroll entry records to a secure website hosted by PenSoft. Depending on how your organization communicates with your customers, we may have a viable solution for you. Contacting Program Support at (757) 873-1199 can allow us to assist you with determining the best method for your company.

A payroll check stub contains limited space, and some of your requested features are already available to be used. PenSoft Program Support Representatives are available for you with specific setup questions related to the check editor. Also, display the plain paper summary to determine if this document would be a valuable report to provide to your employees.

PenSoft provides the user with the ability to calculate tax due on pay periods ranging from daily to annually. Since there is so much flexibility, it is impossible to regularly determine when a pay period would begin and end. You control the ability to enter the next pay period dates and lock them to save until the next processed payroll.

The deposit screen is unique in the ability to check for liability for any period of time through out the year. PenSoft is not based on Pay Period and the system could not automatically determine how much and when a deposit would be due. Taxes, deductions and payments could all potentially have different due dates depending on specific criteria set forth by the agency or organization.
